Occupational Therapist Pediatric at Engaged Headhunters

The Occupational Therapist will use their knowledge and experience to help the children with mental, emotional or physical disabilities. 

They'll work in conjunction with a physician through various rehabilitation programs including occupational therapy that can be prescribed by doctors for each individual patient's needs as they arise throughout the treatment process

The therapist helps kids develop skills needed at home after an accident or when facing other major challenges like illness so parents don't have too much responsibility on their shoulders alone.

Requirements:

• Masters of Science Degree from a college or university having an accredited school of occupational therapy or grandfathered BS. 

• Current license by the State of Louisiana 

• Completion of pediatric affiliation/internship or 3- year pediatric experience preferred. 

• Current CPR or obtain within 3 months 

• Lift and transfer children (25-100 lbs) 

• Participate in handling and floor activities with children 

• Working knowledge and use of assessment tools used to evaluate children 

• Computer experience preferred especially EHR, Word, Excel
